Yes, my granddaughter made the little lavender top for Linsay on her sewing machine. She really is clever!!

dtang: My first attempt at a quilt top was 1968. it became a tied quilt. After 56 years, I have repaired it and plan to quilt. 2.2.24 I have been quilting for over 30 years starting in 1982 the summer after my last baby was born. I have great quilts, but I also have ugly quilts...doesn't everybody? I take great pleasure in color and design and have from a very early age. I enjoy the entire process of quilting except maybe the cutting. I don't hate it, but it's not my favorite part. I use a rotary cutter, but still I'm not crazy about cutting! I learned to hand quilt in 1982, but I just spent the last year and a half learning FMQ quilting as well. One of the advantages of FMQ is jarring the creative juices on all fronts. I use that creativity even in hand quilting. I also enjoy hand dyeing my own fabrics although I don't do it often. I need to learn to do smaller portions for specific projects: but again I enjoy color and design. All that said, my first love is Jesus Christ, then my family holds a close second. They are the best earthly gift given. They are my pride and joy!
